Regent’s track & trace modules operate in virtually all countries worldwide thanks to support for international mobile networks (2G, 4G, LTE-M, NB-IoT, and roaming). Our systems are designed for international deployment, allowing you to seamlessly track your equipment or vehicles-even when operating or being transported across borders.

Global coverage – how does it work?

  • Europe: Full coverage in all EU member states, including Switzerland, Norway, and the United Kingdom
  • International: Modules operate in over 180 countries using global roaming SIMs. Please note: worldwide coverage is disabled by default. To enable it, contact our support team.
  • Specific systems & networks: Some specialized modules using technologies like LoRa or Sigfox may not offer global coverage. Always consult your advisor for confirmation about network availability in your region.
  • Network optimization: Most Regent systems automatically select the best available mobile network per location-without “steering” to preferred operators
  • Suitable for export and international equipment rental

Additional options:

  • Regional configuration is available for data control or security preferences

Are there additional costs for sending data from abroad?

No, in most cases there are not. Regent uses roaming SIM cards with fixed rates, which means that data transmission from abroad (within covered EU countries) is included in your subscription, with no unexpected charges.

  • Within the EU, all data costs are included in the standard subscription.
  • Outside the EU, global coverage is available in over 180 countries. This feature is disabled by default, and additional costs apply. → If you wish to activate global coverage, please contact our support team.
  • Custom applications (such as tailored SIM solutions) may fall under separate pricing. This is always agreed upon in advance.
  • Normal data usage is fully included. In the case of excessive data consumption (e.g. due to unusual configurations or external integrations), further consultation may be required.
